ORBIS Corporation Completes 9th Annual Race Against Hunger Food Drive
Annual ORBIS event raises more than $12,000 for local food pantries over two weeks in September
OCONOMOWOC, Wis. – September 11, 2017 – ORBIS® Corporation, an international manufacturer of sustainable reusable packaging and supply chain optimization expert, participated in the 9th annual Race Against Hunger Food Drive. Thanks to Oconomowoc associates, ORBIS raised over $12,000 to support the Oconomowoc, Watertown and Gathering Source Food Pantries with the help of the Race Against Hunger (RAH) Committee, Community Action Team as well as all Oconomowoc associates.
Associates participated in many different activities throughout the two weeks, including a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction with over 30 winners. Other events included an all-you-can-eat-taco bar, Donut Day and Dunk a Friend. Seven lucky nominees and volunteers were courageous enough to be dunked by ORBIS associates on a nice summer day.
Throughout this event, ORBIS had many amazing associates who volunteered their time or donated money to make this another successful Race Against Hunger Food Drive for local communities.
